Raiders Announce Reserve/Future Signings

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed the following nine players to Reserve/Future contracts, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced on Tuesday.

Six of the nine players finished the 2014 season on the Raiders' practice squad.

Cobb: Originally signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in May 2014 before being waived at the end of training camp…Played four seasons at Cumberland, setting school record for rush­ing yards in a game (327), season (1,991) and career (4,414)…Also holds records for most rushing TDs in a game (6) and career (47)…Became the first player for Cumberland to sign an NFL contract.

Gallon: Originally drafted by the New England Patriots in the seventh round (244th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft…Appeared in 51 games over four seasons at Michigan at wide receiver and kick and punt returner, making 25 starts and totaling 173 receptions for 2,704 yards and 17 touchdowns…Also returned 32 kickoffs for 658 yards and 47 punts for 333 yards…Holds the school record for receiving yards in a single season (1,373 yards).

Schwenke: Originally signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in May 2014…Waived by the Chiefs at the end of camp and spent time this past season on the practice squads of the Chiefs, New England Patriots and New York Jets…Played four years at Notre Dame, seeing action in 31 games with 30 tackles (nine solo), one sack and one fumble recovery.
