  • 11th Preseason meeting between the Raiders and Seahawks
  • 8th consecutive year in which the Raiders and Seahawks will conclude the preseason together.
  • The Raiders have traveled to Seattle for six of the previous seven preseason matchups.
  • The Raiders lead the all-time regular season series against the Seahawks, 28-23.
  • The Seahawks used to be a member of the AFC West with the Raiders from 1977 to 2001.
  • QB Matt Flynn was acquired by the Raiders from the Seahawks in April and this preseason game will be Flynn's first matchup against his former team.
  • DBs Phillip Adams and Coye Francies both played for the Seattle Seahawks during the 2011 season.
  • Offensive quality control coach Justin Griffith served as a coaching intern with the Seahawks in 2012. He played in 13 games with the Seahawks in 2009.

  • Seahawks special teams coordinator Brian Schneider coached special teams for the Raiders from 2007-08.
  • Seattle RB Marshawn Lynch's hometown is Oakland and played college football at Cal in Berkeley.
  • Former Raiders players currently on the Seahawks roster include DE/LB Chris Clemons (2007), T Paul McQuistan (2006-08), TE Zach Miller (2007-10) and CB Ron Parker (2011).
