Raiders edition of Hard Knocks nominated for an Emmy

It's not the trophy Coach Gruden and the Silver and Black are after, but last season's training camp in Napa did earn a nomination for some hardware.

During Thursday's Emmy Award nominations, "Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Oakland Raiders" received a nod for Outstanding Serialized Sports Documentary. It was one of 16 HBO received for the upcoming 41st Annual Sports Emmy Awards.

Hard Knocks is no stranger to awards. The series, co-produced by NFL Films, has won at least one Sports Emmy every single year the series has aired since 2008.

We'll find out who wins at a later date. The ceremony was initially scheduled for April 28 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
