Raiders Sign Reece to Contract Extension

The Oakland Raiders have finalized a contract extension with fullback Marcel Reece, the team announced Tuesday.

A Pro Bowl alternate last year despite playing in just 12 contests, Reece has played in 31 career games with 20 starts in four seasons with the Raiders. He has 56 career receptions for 674 yards and five touchdowns, and has rushed for 234 yards on 48 attempts with one touchdown.

The 6-foot-1, 255-pound Reece had a career-high 27 receptions for 301 yards with two touchdowns last season. He played in all 16 games with 13 starts in 2010, totaling 25 catches for 333 yards and three touchdowns.

Reece joined the Silver and Black in 2008 as a non-drafted free agent out of Washington, where he played wide receiver.
