The Oakland Raiders have signed free agent TE Kyle Auffray(OFF-ray), General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Sunday.

Auffray was originally signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in May 2013 before being waived later that summer. He signed with the New England Patriots in June 2014 and was waived later in the month, before being signed and waived by the Cleveland Browns in August 2014.

The 6-foot-5, 254-pounder played in 16 career games at New Hampshire as a tight end and punter after starting his career as a quarterback at Mississippi State. His career totals include four receptions for 34 yards and one touchdown, and 71 punts for 2,679 yards (37.7 avg.).

To make room on the roster, the Raiders have waived K Kevin Goessling.
