Raiders Sign WR Vincent Brown

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed free agent WR Vincent Brown, Raiders General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Tuesday.

Brown was selected in the third round (82nd overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers. He played in 30 career games with 16 starts for San Diego, totaling 60 career receptions for 801 yards (13.4 avg.). After missing the entire 2012 season with a broken ankle suffered in the team's second preseason game, he finished the 2013 season with 41 catches for 472 yards and one touchdown in 16 games with 12 starts.

A native of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., the 5-foot-11, 190-pounder played in 44 games during his collegiate career at San Diego State, finishing ranked third all-time in receiving with 209 catches for 3,110 yards (14.9 avg.) and 23 touchdowns. To make room on the roster, the Raiders have waived LB Bojay Filimoeatu.
