Raiders set to host division rival Chargers this Sunday

The Oakland Raiders will return home to Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum this Sunday to close out their season series with the Los Angeles Chargers. Scheduled for a 1:05 p.m. PT kickoff, this will mark the 118th contest between the clubs, with the Raiders currently leading the all-time series, 62-53-2. The Chargers enter with a three-game win streak over the Silver and Black, after most recently defeating the club by a score of 26-10 at the StubHub Center in Week 5.

The Raiders enter Week 10 after playing in their second primetime game of the year in an away matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. In the contest, QB Derek Carr posted a 99.5 passer rating on 16-of-21 attempts for 171 yards. His 76.2 completion percentage marked his sixth game of 2018 in which he has achieved at least a 70.0 completion percentage, tied for the second-most such games in the NFL and first among all AFC quarterbacks. On the year, Carr ranks second in the NFL with a completion percentage of 72.3. Carr's mark stands as a personal and franchise best through eight games and ranks sixth in NFL history among quarterbacks through the first nine weeks of a season. RB Jalen Richard tied a gamehigh with four receptions and continues to pace the team with 43 catches on the year, good for fifth-most among NFL running backs.

-Raiders Head Coach Jon Gruden and Chargers defensive coordinator Gus Bradley spent time on the same coaching staff in Tampa Bay from 2006-08, serving as head coach and linebackers coach, respectively. 

-Raiders assistant head coach/special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia spent two seasons in San Diego with the Chargers as special teams coordinator in 2011 before adding assistant head coaching duties in 2012. 

-Raiders assistant defensive line coach Marco Coleman played defensive end for the Chargers from 1996-98.

The Chargers won in a one-possession contest on the road against the Seattle Seahawks by a score of 25-17 to improve their record to 6-2 on the year and extend their winning streak to five games.
