DT Richard Seymour earned his seventh trip to the Pro Bowl in his 11th NFL season and third with the Raiders. During his 11 years in the league, Seymour has played in 156 games and recorded 481 tackles, 54.5 sacks and 34 passes defensed.

Seymour tallied 6.0 sacks this season, needing only 5.5 more to reach 60 for his career. He had two multi-sack games in 2011, the first against the Broncos in Week 1 and the second against the Texans in Week 5.

The veteran leader blocked two field goals in the Week 16 match up with the Kansas City Chiefs. The second block allowed the Raiders to take the game into overtime and win on a Janikowski field goal. For his effort on special teams, Seymour was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
