The Call: The Moment Nine Rookies Were Drafted

Receiving a call on Draft Day is a feeling few players get to experience.

Thursday, the 2018 NFL Draft kicked off, and by the three-day event's end, the Oakland Raiders had added nine new players. General Manager Reggie McKenzie and Head Coach Jon Gruden have completely revamped the Raiders roster, and the two were adamant about going out and drafting the players on their wish list.

After each selection, McKenzie and Gruden called all of the draftees to express their excitement, and welcome them to the Silver and Black.

Watch, as the 2018 Draft Class is informed they're officially members of the Raiders:

**With the No. 15 overall pick, the Raiders selected offensive tackle Kolton Miller.

**

**In the second round, McKenzie and Gruden fortified the defensive line with the addition of P.J. Hall.

**

**The Raiders added more depth to the offensive line with the selection of Brandon Parker.

**

**Former LSU Tiger Arden Key will join defensive end Khalil Mack and Co., in their pursuit of opposing quarterbacks.

**

**The secondary has another former member of the Big 10 conference in its ranks.

**

**In the fifth round, the Raiders selected aggressive pass rusher Maurice Hurst from the University of Michigan.

**Assistant Head Coach/Special Teams Coordinator Rich Bisaccia has a new punter to work with.

**

**Former University of Washington linebacker Azeem Victor was excited to hear he was joining the Raiders.

**

**The Raiders added to an already talented wide receivers group with the addition of Marcell Ateman.
