It has been a busy week for the Silver and Black as they've taken the field twice in the past five days.

The preseason is now in the rearview mirror and the regular season is upon us, but before we officially begin preparing for the home opener against the Cincinnati Bengals, let's get you caught up on the week that was.

Raiders Wrap Up The Preseason

After opening the preseason August 14, the Silver and Black concluded the preseason Thursday night with a showdown against the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field.

While the Raiders didn't fly home with a victory under their belt, they did return relatively healthy and saw some players step up and make big plays in the preseason finale.

Khalil Mack Shines Against The Cardinals

Khalil Mack was better than advertised Sunday night when the Raiders took on the Arizona Cardinals.

The standout recorded 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble and was routinely in the backfield causing headaches for the Cardinals quarterbacks.

In addition to his stellar play Sunday, Mack was named to two major ESPN lists, and was named the No. 1 player in the NFL under 25.

Not bad for the second-year player from Buffalo.
