The Silver and Black hosted the Green Bay Packers in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on August 22, 2019 for Week 3 of the preseason.
At the time, the game was the Raiders' ninth international contest and first time playing north of the border.
The preseason matchup at IG Field, home of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL, was ultimately played on a reconfigured field. In lieu of going the full 100 yards, it was played on an 80-yard field with the 10-yard line functioning as the goal line for both squads. The Raiders won, 22-21.
