Tiger Woods

See Raider Nation, Tiger Woods is just like you.

Well, maybe not just like you, but close.

The 14-time major champion started 2017 off with a lengthy blog post on TigerWoods.com, detailing his professional plans for the new year, as well as giving a shout out to his alma mater Stanford for winning their Sun Bowl matchup against North Carolina.

Woods ended the lengthy post with a heartfelt message to quarterback Derek Carr and the Oakland Raiders.

"Finally, I am heartbroken about the injury to Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, who was having an MVP season," wrote Woods. "Typical football, next man up. You're one play away from having a devastating injury, and that's just the way it is. Hopefully, guys will rally and take it as far as they can. I'll be pulling for them in the playoffs."

Woods has long been a fan of the Silver and Black, and it stands to reason that he'll be tuned in when the Raiders take on the Houston Texans Saturday afternoon at NRG Stadium.
