The Upon Further Review crew came strong for Week 16, so strong, in fact, that the guys decided to drop the podcast a day early.
Following all the business of the week, Eddie Paskal and Producer Trav welcome in their first of two (!) guests this week, linebacker Will Compton.
Compton – who was more than generous with his time – discussed all variety of topics during his time on the program, including how his body felt after going wire-to-wire against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the biggest challenges he's faced getting up to speed over the past-month-and-a-half, as well as the origin story of his own podcast, "Bussin With The Boys."
After Compton departs, Eddie and Trav play back a conversation they had with Rich Gannon Friday afternoon prior to the likely final game at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. In addition to discussing why it was important for him to be a part of the broadcast crew who called the game, Gannon shares his own memories of the OACC, and what made his relationship with Coach Gruden so unique.
From there, the guys wrap up the "superpod" as they typically do with Victory Formation.
Topics discussed include, Kyle Martin's "Boring Game of the Week" (naturally), how to make the Pro Bowl – and Pro Bowl voting – something meaningful, and what the Silver and Black need to do to snap this four-game skid.
