Silver & Black Flag Football - Rising Stars

Adeline - Johnston Steam Academy

On the field, she competes with confidence, toughness, and determination, but she never loses the kindness and sportsmanship that define who she is. Her teammates trust her, her coaches can count on her, and she brings a competitive edge without ever compromising her character. Her year-round commitment to flag football has helped her develop into a stronger, more confident, and more complete athlete. Her excellence extends well beyond the football field. She currently holds the highest GPA on our team and consistently demonstrates the same discipline, focus, and work ethic in the classroom that she brings to athletics.

She understands what it truly means to be a student-athlete, with the student coming first.

Romeo - Mack Lyon Middle School

Romeo is an outstanding athlete who makes an impact on both sides of the ball. Romeo is a natural leader who helps his teammates on the field and brings a strong competitive drive to our team. He listens during practice, consistently gives great effort, and is always looking for ways to improve. His commitment to the team and willingness to do whatever is asked of him make him an important part of our program at Mack Lyon Middle School.

Romeo has shown tremendous growth in the classroom. After struggling academically at the end of last school year, he has made a noticeable effort to improve and has been committed to keeping his grades up this year. I believe that growth deserves to be recognized, and I am proud of the progress he has made so far this year.
