100 Days of 100 Jersey Numbers - 74

For a total of 100 days, we'll take a look at the men who have played for the Raiders jersey number by jersey number. This series will highlight some of the greatest players in NFL history. In some cases, the player and jersey number are synonymous. In other cases, the jersey number represents sustained greatness at a particular position. Some players are superstitious about their jersey number. Whatever the case may be, jersey numbers are an important part of the fabric of professional football.

Sixteen players have worn jersey No. 74 in Raiders history, including a couple of very disruptive defensive linemen.

Paul Oglesby – T – 1960

Originally drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1960 NFL Draft, Oglesby played in 14 games for the Raiders during the franchise's inaugural season.

Doug Brown – DT – 1964

Brown joined the Raiders in 1964 after playing for the Los Angeles Rams in 1962. He played in 12 games for the Raiders.

Rich Zecher – T – 1965

The Raiders selected Zecher in the 9th round of the 1965 AFL Draft. He played in 14 games in 1965. Zecher went on to play for Miami and Buffalo.

Tom Keating – DT – 1966-72

Keating joined the Raiders after two years in Buffalo. He played in 70 games with 31 starts and recorded one fumble recovery. He was selected for two AFL All-Star games and named 1st Team All Pro once. He went on to play for Pittsburgh and Kansas City.

Dave Rowe – DT – 1975-78

The Raiders acquired Rowe in 1975 after he played with the Saints, Patriots and Chargers. He played in 39 games with 30 starts and recorded one fumble recovery. He was a member of the Raiders Super Bowl XI championship team. He went on to play for the Baltimore Colts.

Dave Pear – DT – 1979-80

Pear joined the Raiders after one year with the Baltimore Colts and three with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played in 23 games with 19 starts. He was a member of the Raiders Super Bowl XV championship squad.

Archie Reese – DT – 1982-83

Reese joined the Raiders after four years with the San Francisco 49ers. He played in 19 games with one start and recorded one sack, and returned one fumble 75 yards for a touchdown.

Shelby Jordan – T – 1983-86

Jordan joined the Raiders after seven years with the New England Patriots. He played in 56 games with five starts. He was a member of the Raiders Super Bowl XVIII championship team.

Mike Rodriguez – DT – 1987

Rodriguez played in one game for the Raiders in 1987.

Jim Lachey – T – 1988

Lachey joined the Raiders after three years with the San Diego Chargers. The Raiders traded him to Washington in the deal that brought QB Jay Schroeder to the Raiders. He played in one game with one start for the Raiders.

Pete Koch – DE – 1989

Koch joined the Raiders after one year with Cincinnati and three with the Chiefs. He played in four games for the Raiders.

Nolan Harrison – DE – 1991-96

The Raiders selected Harrison in the 6th round of the 1991 NFL Draft out of Indiana. He played in 82 games with 55 starts and recorded 13.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. He went on to play for Pittsburgh and Washington.

Derrick Graham – G – 1998

Graham joined the Raiders after five years with Kansas City, one with Carolina and two with Seattle. He played in 12 games with 12 starts for the Raiders.

Matt Stinchcomb – G/T – 1999-03

The Raiders selected Stinchcomb in the 1st round of the 1999 NFL Draft out of Georgia. After missing his rookie season due to a shoulder injury, Stinchcomb played in 49 games with 20 starts. He went on to play one season with Tampa Bay.

Cornell Green – T – 2007-09

Green joined the Raiders after two stints with Tampa Bay wrapped around a year with the Broncos. He played in 38 games with 38 starts for the Raiders. Green went on to play one year in Buffalo.

Bruce Campbell – G – 2010-11

The Raiders selected Campbell in the 4th round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played in 14 games before the Raiders traded him to the Carolina Panthers in 2012.
