Quarterback Derek Carr

It may seem like a lifetime ago, but in 2014, a quarterback from Fresno State named Derek Carr descended on Mobile, Ala., to participate in the Senior Bowl.

After taking part in the week of practice leading up to the game, Carr finished his run under center completing seven of 12 passes for 45 yards and one touchdown for the South squad, but where he really impressed the assembled group of scouts, talent evaluators, and coaches was how he handled himself off the field.

Since joining the Silver and Black, Carr has been heralded for his leadership ability, and even as a college senior, it was evident that was something the Fresno State quarterback could bring to the table for whatever team ended up selecting him.

Let's take a look back at not only "DC's" highlights from the Senior Bowl, but what the experts thought of his performance in Mobile.

Even though Carr is now a few years removed from playing in the Senior Bowl, he hasn't forgotten what a valuable experience it was for him in the months before the NFL Draft.
