- Tyvon is originally from Cicero, N.Y., and is one of nine siblings.
- He attended Cicero-North Syracuse High School and, in 2004, won the National Indoor Track Championship in the 60 meters (6.82) and was also named the Gatorade New York State Track Athlete of the Year.
- Branch, out of the University of Connecticut, ran a 4.31 second 40-yard dash at the 2008 NFL Combine and the Raiders went on to draft Branch in the fourth round (100th overall) of that year's draft.
- Tyvon started 57 consecutive games from 2009-12.
- He is also very active in the community, and has been involved with numerous organizations including the Central New York Football Academy, the United Way and the NFL Play 60 campaign.
