Raiders announce team captains for 2025 season

Head Coach Pete Carroll revealed the Las Vegas Raiders team captains for the 2025 season.

The group consists of one captain from the offense, defense and special teams.

Player (in alphabetical order)	Position
AJ Cole	Punter
Maxx Crosby	Defensive End
Geno Smith	Quarterback

This trio of AJ Cole, Maxx Crosby and Geno Smith have all served as captains previously in their NFL careers. Crosby has been a team captain for the Silver and Black since 2021 and Cole since 2022.

Smith served as a team captain for the Seattle Seahawks in 2023 and on several occasions in 2024 season, after adopting a system of appointing their captains weekly.
