Khalil Mack Makes Two Major ESPN Lists

Second-year Oakland Raiders linebacker Khalil Mack has received quite a bit of positive press this offseason, and by the way he played last season, and so far this preseason, he certainly warrants the attention.

ESPN recently published two lists: #NFLRANK: The Top 100 Players and NFL 25 Under 25 Rankings. Mack is prominently featured on both lists. He is No. 1 on the NFL 25 Under 25 list and No. 53 in the Top 100.

NFL 25 Under 25 Rankings

Mel Kiper Jr., and Mike Sando write:

"Jack Del Rio's move from Denver to Oakland naturally has generated talk about Mack becoming a Von Miller-type playmaker. Mack actually edged Miller for the top spot in Pro Football Focus' grading for 4-3 outside linebackers last season, largely due to his strength in defending the run."

Top 100 Players

ESPN Staff writes:

"The PFF crew rated Mack as one of the best run defenders on the planet last season, and as our voter noted, Mack can and will rush the passer. He had 40 hurries last season."

**FULL ARTICLE** Mack racked up two sacks and a forced fumble against the Arizona Cardinals this past Sunday night. He has been a constant disruptive force in opponent's backfields so far this preseason.
