NFL teams were informed Friday that the league-wide salary cap for 2026 will rise to a record $301.2 million per club, according to NFL Vice President of Communications Brian McCarthy.
The new total marks a $22 million increase from 2025.
For the Raiders, it opens the door to meaningful roster building. The team is projected to have over $87 million available in cap space, per Spotrac.com, which tracks estimates of each team's cap space.
The new league year, which also marks the start of free agency, begins March 11 at 1 p.m. PT. The Silver and Black have 24 pending free agents.
