Former NBA star Baron Davis, a longtime Raiders fan, is set to host Raiders: Talk of the Nation. Davis forged his allegiance to the Silver and Black while growing up in Los Angeles, where he followed the Raiders as the 1983 team gave the city its first World Championship of Professional Football with a win in Super Bowl XVIII.

The two-time NBA All-Star-turned-businessman and media personality will provide insight for the 30-minute sit-down interview series that explores the lifestyle, culture and community impact of the Silver and Black.

"I'm super excited," commented Davis about this opportunity to engage with members of the organization as well as Raider Nation. "As a fan and former athlete, it is going to be fun to be able to tap into players and coaches personalities."

Produced in-house by the Emmy Award-winning Silver & Black Productions, each episode of Raiders: Talk of the Nation features in-depth conversations with a rotating mix of local voices, national media personalities and celebrity guests — all through the unique lens of Raider Nation.

"I'm especially excited to partner with the Raiders on this show because, as a basketball player, stepping into the world of football opens up an incredible opportunity to explore the powerful intersection of sports and culture," Davis said. "This isn't just a show about Raider Nation — it's about the spirit of football, the passion of fandom and the strength of community. From both a fan's perspective and a basketball player lens, it's a first-of-its-kind project that truly bridges the gap between sports worlds."

"I want the fans to feel connected to the players and coaches," he added.

During a recent visit along with his children to Intermountain Health Performance Center, Davis ran into several current players including Raiders star Maxx Crosby. He rattled off names familiar to Raider Nation with whom he established an affinity for and in several cases, a relationship with.

"It's Al Davis, it's Charles Woodson, it's Ronnie Lott, Marcus Allen," Davis said. "I became tight with Marcus Allen and Ronnie Lott both became mentors to me."

Since retiring from professional basketball Davis has forged a successful career as an investor, serial entrepreneur, and creator of thought-provoking content and digital platforms. His most recent venture, Business Inside The Game, is a members-only platform that offers its community networking and thought leadership events, access to a pipeline of investment opportunities, as well as meaningful connections with like-minded professionals.

Davis is also the founder of Sports, Lifestyle in Culture, UWish, History of the Game and Oatmeal Radio Cafe - companies which combine creative talent with original publication and production to develop and provide educational, empowering stories that appeal to global audiences of all ages.
