Tight end Brock Bowers has been named the Raiders' nominee for the 12th annual Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award, which is presented to a player who personifies sportsmanship on the field including fair play, respect for the game and opponents, and integrity in competition.

This prestigious award was established in 2014, named in honor of the late founding owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Art Rooney Sr.

This is Bowers' first time nominated. Following an All-Pro selection his rookie season in 2024, he's followed it up with another successful campaign as he leads the Raiders in receptions (45) and is second in receiving yards (510).

A panel of former players, part of the NFL Legends Community, will select eight finalists (four in each conference) from the 32 nominees. Then, each team's players will submit a consensus vote of their choice for the winner. However, a team cannot vote for its own player.

The winner will be announced at NFL Honors where he will receive a $25,000 donation from the NFL Foundation to a charity of his choice. The last Raider to win the award was Charles Woodson in 2015.
