The Oakland Raiders began Phase 2 of their offseason workout program Monday. The second of three phases lasts three weeks. The Raiders are now allowed to include on-field workouts with individual player instruction and drills as well as team practice conducted on a "separates" basis. No live contact or team offense versus team defense drills are permitted.
The team concluded Phase 1 of their offseason workout program Thursday. The first phase consisted of strength and conditioning program crafted by strength and conditioning coach John Grieco and assistant strength coaches Vernon Stephens and Noah Franklin.
After three weeks of Phase 2, the Raiders will transition to Phase 3, which includes Organized Team Activities and a mini-camp.
