HENDERSON, Nev. – The Las Vegas Raiders have re-signed restricted free agent DT Thomas Booker IV, the club announced Tuesday.
Booker IV returns for his second season with the Silver and Black after being acquired via trade from the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2025 training camp. In his first season in Las Vegas, Booker played in 17 games with 13 starts and compiled 44 tackles (16 solo), seven quarterback hits, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and five passes defensed.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pound defensive tackle originally entered the league as a fifth-round pick (150th overall) by the Houston Texans in the 2022 NFL Draft before signing to the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad in 2023. He appeared in all 17 games during the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX campaign in 2024 and recorded 18 total tackles (eight), three tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, and one pass defensed.
Over his three-year career, Booker has played in 44 games with 15 starts and totaled 77 tackles (35), 1.5 sacks, four tackles for loss, 10 quarterback hits, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and seven passes defensed.
A native of Baltimore, Md., Booker played four seasons at Stanford (2018-21), where he was a two-time All-Pac-12 selection after racking up 158 tackles (89), 20.5 tackles for loss, 10.0 sacks, nine passes defensed and one interception in 43 career games. He also became the fourth player in school history to be recognized as a two-time first-team Academic All-America selection.
