Rookie Ashton Jeanty has been nominated for the Week 4 FedEx Air & Ground Player of Week.
The running back delivered for the Las Vegas Raiders in the running and passing game against the Chicago Bears. He caught two receiving touchdowns on his only two catches of the game, and added a third touchdown on a 64-yard run to the end zone. He recorded 138 rushing yards on 21 carries, averaging nearly seven yards per carry.
"You can see how special he is," Pete Carroll said of Jeanty postgame. "They can't tackle him in the open field, and he makes it look easy, which really good players do. So, we're very fortunate that this game finally came. We've been waiting for it, and everybody felt like it was just an eyelash from happening, and now that he's busted, you can see it."
This is Jeanty's first nomination for the award. The other nominees include Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs), Matthew Stafford (Los Angeles Rams), Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys), Bijan Robinson (Atlanta Falcons) and Puka Nacua (Los Angeles Rams).
