The Bengals won the opening coin toss and deferred their choice to the second half. The Raiders elected to receive the opening kickoff. CB Coye Francies returned K Mike Nugent's opening kickoff 22 yards to the 22. After two runs by FB Marcel Reece netted 13 yards and a first down, the Bengals sacked QB Carson Palmer twice and forced a punt. CB Adam Jones returned P Shane Lechler's 51-yard punt 18 yards to the Cincinnati 42.
RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis got the Bengals on the board with a 1-yard touchdown run after a 48-yard blast on 3rd and 1 from the 49. The extra point was good and the Bengals led 7-0 with 9:12 left in the first quarter.
Francies returned the ensuing kickoff 28 yards to the 25. The Bengals held the Raiders to a three-and-out and Lechler came on to punt. An illegal block in the back during Adam Jones' return of a 57-yard punt backed the Bengals up to the 12. QB Andy Dalton capped the 88-yard drive with a 2-yard TD pass to WR Mohamed Sanu. The extra point was good and the Bengals led 14-0 with 2:59 left in the first quarter.
Francies returned the ensuing kickoff to the 26. The Bengals held the Raiders to a three-and-out. RB Taiwan Jones dropped Adam Jones for a 6-yard loss at the 22 on the return of a Lechler punt. The Raiders held the Bengals to a three-and-out. CB Phillip Adams waved everyone off and P Kevin Huber's punt went out of bounds at the Oakland 29.
The Raiders drive stalled at the 46 and Lechler come on to punt on 4th and 3. WR Brandon Tate called for and made a fair catch at the Bengals 11. Dalton capped the 89-yard drive with a 5-yard TD pass to Sanu, The extra point was good and Cincinnati led 21-0 with 7:28 to go in the 2nd quarter.

Francies returned the ensuing kickoff 22 yards to the 19. The Raideres drive was stuffed on 4th and 1 just past midfield and the Bengals took over on downs. The Bengals settled for a 48-yard field goal attempt. Nugent's kick sailed wide right and the Raiders took over at the 38. The Raiders drive ended when a Palmer pass bounced off FB Marcel Reece's hands and was intercepted. S Chris Crocker returned the pick to the Raiders 48. Two plays later, Nugent came on for a 55-yard field goal attempt. The successful kick gave Cincinnati a 24-0 lead at halftime.
K Sebastian Janikowski's opening kickoff of the second half flew out of the back of the end zone for a touchback and the Bengals started at the 20. The Raiders held the Bengals to a three-and-out. CB Phillip Adams returned punt 11 yards to the 50-yard line. The Raiders were forced to settle for a 55-yard field goal attempt. The kick was good and put the Raiders on the board. The Bengals led 24-3 with 10:28 left in the third quarter.
Tate returned the ensuing kickoff 25 yards to the 17. The Raiders held the Bengals to a three-and-out. Huber's punt took a Raiders bounce and was downed at the Oakland 43. The Raiders went three-and-out and Lechler came on to punt. Tate fielded Lechler's punt on a bounce and returned it to the 15.
The Raiders held the Bengals to a three-and-out thanks in part to a LB Philip Wheeler sack on second down. Adams called for and made a fair catch at the Oakland 48. Palmer capped the 52-yard drive with a 20-yard TD pass to WR Denarius Moore. The extra point was good and the Raiders cut the Bengals lead to 24-10 with 2:21 left in the 3rd quarter.
Janikowski's ensuing kickoff flew out of the back of the end zone for a touchback and Cincinnati started at the 20. The Raiders held the Bengals to a three-and-out thanks to a DE Matt Shaughnessy sack on 3rd and 6. Adams returned Huber's punt to the Oakland 44.
The Bengals got the ball back when LB Rey Maualuga recovered a Palmer fumble at the Oakland 46. The Bengals got to the 1-yard line on a 38-yard Green-Ellis run but were forced to settle for a Nugent field goal which gave them a 27-10 lead with 12:29 to play.
Francies fielded the ensuing kickoff and took a knee for a touchback and the Raiders started at the 20. The Raiders crossed midfield but the drive self-destructed and Lechler came on to punt. Tate returned the punt to the 16.
After a bizarre sequence which included several penalties and three player ejections, the Bengals drove deep into Raiders territory. Dalton hit TE Jermaine Gresham for a 7-yard TD pass. The extra point gave the Bengals a 34-10 lead with 3:39 left.
The Raiders next possession ended when a Palmer pass on 4th and 10 fell incomplete and Cincinnati took over on downs.
The Raiders fall to 3-8 on the season and return home to face the Cleveland Browns at O.co Coliseum next Sunday.
