James Jones joined the Oakland Raiders on March 17, 2014 after spending the first seven years of his career with the Green Bay Packers.
His signing also marked a homecoming for Jones, who grew up in San Jose and played collegiately at San Jose State.
2014 proved to be a career year for the sure-handed veteran, as he set a career high with 73 receptions, eclipsing his previous high of 64 in 2012.
During the Raiders Week Six match-up with the San Diego Chargers, Jones hauled in the 40th touchdown of his career, a six-yard reception from rookie QB Derek Carr.
He also scored the game-winning touchdown during the team's Thursday Night Football win over the Kansas City Chiefs on a 9-yard pass from Carr in the fourth quarter.
Jones ended the season with six touchdowns, and his 73 receptions are the most by a Raiders wide receiver since Jerry Porter had 76 in 2005.
