Ford Named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month

Oakland Raiders WR Jacoby Ford has been named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for November.

During the month of November, Ford averaged 245 all-purpose yards and scored three touchdowns. Ford, the Raiders' fourth round pick in 2010 out of Clemson, totaled 439 yards with a 29.3-yard average on 15 kickoff returns and two touchdowns; 283 yards receiving with a 23.6-yard average (on 12 catches) and one touchdown and rushed for 13 yards.

Ford returned two kickoffs for touchdowns during the month of November. He returned a kickoff 94 yards in the third quarter and also added 148 receiving yards on six catches during a 23-20 Raiders overtime win over the Kansas City Chiefs on November 7. Ford's 47-yard reception set up the game-winning field goal in overtime. 

Ford became the first Raider in team history to return the game-opening kickoff for a score when he ran back the opener 101 yards during the November 28 contest against Miami. Ford also totaled 108 receiving yards on four catches with a 52-yard scoring catch versus the Dolphins.
