Raiders G Robert Gallery is looking to bounce back from an injury-plagued 2009 season during which has able to play in only six games.

Oakland Raiders LG Robert Gallery suffered two injuries in 2009 which caused him to miss significant playing time, 10 games in all. According to the former #2 overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, he is ready to go for 2010. Raiders.com caught up with the seventh-year player out of Iowa for a Q&A.

Raiders.com: What have you been doing since the back injury?

Gallery: I've just been here rehabbing, so now everybody's here and we're getting into the off-season program.

Raiders.com: How frustrating was 2009 for you?

Gallery: It's just one of those things. It's something you can't control. They were kind of some freak injuries. It's football, you deal with it, you get healthy and you come back.

Raiders.com: You seem to have settled in at left guard, what do you think of playing that position and what do you think you can get done this season?

Gallery: I like it. In this league, you have to get in one spot and work and get consistent in that spot. I've been there for three or four years now. That's all I can ask for. We're just working on making this line better than we were last year and help this team win.

Raiders.com: What else have you been doing in the off-season?

Gallery: I've just been rehabbing and enjoying my family, getting away for a little bit.

Raiders.com: Any non-football plans for the summer?

Gallery: Getting set up for our Car Cruise fundraiser, we'll have [details] out here soon, it'll be June 12th. We'll be raising money for military families.
