GAME RECAP: Eagles 49 Raiders 20

Eagles QB Nick Foles tied an NFL record with 7 TD passes as Philadelphia defeated the Raiders 49-20. Raiders RB Rashad Jennings carried the ball 15 times for 102 yards and a score in a losing effort.

The Eagles won the opening coin toss and elected to defer their choice to the second half. RB Jeremy Stewart returned K Alex Henery's opening kickoff to the Oakland 16. A holding penalty during the return moved the Raiders back to the 8. The Raiders drive stalled at the 46 and P Marquette King came on to punt. A running into the punter call on the Eagles gave the Raiders a first down. The Raiders were unable to take advantage and were forced to punt. WR DeSean Jackson called for and made a fair catch at the Philadelphia 16. 

QB Nick Foles engineered a 10-play, 84-yard yard scoring drive, which he capped with a 2-yard TD pass to TE Brent Celek. The extra point was good and the Eagles took a 7-0 lead with 5:18 left in the 1st quarter. 

Henery's ensuing kickoff sailed out of the back of the end zone for a touchback and the Raiders started from their own 20. The Raiders drive stalled at the Eagles 6. K Sebastian Janikowski's 24-yard field goal cut the Eagles lead to 7-3 with 2:02 left in the 1st quarter. 

CB Phillip Adams dropped CB Brandon Boykin at the Philly 18 after a 9-yard kickoff return.  The Eagles took a 14-3 lead when Foles capped an 8-play, 82-yard drive with a 17-yard TD pass to WR Riley Cooper. 

CB Taiwan Jones returned the ensuing kickoff to the Oakland 14. The Raiders were unable to sustain a drive and King came on to punt. Jackson returned it 32 yards and committed a facemask penalty at the end of the run. The Eagles started at their own 37. 

Foles hit Cooper for a 63-yard scoring strike as rookie CB DJ Hayden fell down. The PAT was good and the Eagles led 21-3 with 11:17 left in the 2nd quarter. 

Jones fielded the ensuing kickoff in the end zone and took a knee for a touchback.  RB Rahsad Jennings capped the 6-play, 80-yard drive with an 8-yard TD run, his first as a Raider. The extra point was good and the Eagles lead was cut to 21-10 with 7:34 left in the 2nd quarter. 

Janikowski's ensuing kickoff sailed out of the end zone for a touchback and the Eagles started at their own 20. Foles found the end zone again with a 15-yard TD pass to TE Zach Ertz. The PAT was good and the Eagles led 28-10 with 4:03 left in the 2nd quarter. 

Stewart returned the ensuing kickoff to the Oakland 21. The Raiders managed one first down before the Eagles forced a punt. After a King punt, a Jackson return and a facemask on the Raiders, the Eagles started at their own 35. The Raiders held the Eagles to a three-and-out. P Donnie Jones' punt went into the end zone but a running into the kicker penalty made it 4th and 1. The Eagles tried to draw the Raiders offsides. Jones' punt bounced out of bounds at the Raiders 25. The Raiders managed a Janikowski 53-yard field goal, which cut the Eagles lead to 28-13 with 3 seconds left in the 2nd quarter. 

LB Brandon Graham fielded the ensuing kickoff and returned it as time expired in the first half. 

Boykin returned the kickoff 41 yards to the Eagles 39. Philly marched right down the field and Foles hit RB LeSean McCoy for a 25-yard catch and run for a TD. The PAT was good and the Eagles took a 35-13 lead with 14:14 left in the 3rd quarter. 

The ensuing kickoff went for a touchback and the Raiders started at the 20. The Raiders went three and out and the Eagles started at their 43 after a King punt. 

The Eagles scored quickly with a 46-yard TD pass to Jackson. The PAT was good and the Raiders found themselves in a 42-13 hole with 11:33 left in the 3rd. 

The Raiders were unable to mount a scoring drive and punted the ball back to the Eagles. After a 55-yard King boot went for a touchback, the Eagles started at the 20. 

The Raiders forced a three-and-out and started at the 9 after a 64-yard Jones punt. The Raiders drive stalled and punted the ball back to the Eagles.

Foles tossed his 7th TD pass of the day, a 5-yarder to Cooper to make the score 49-14 with 4:28 left in the 3rd quarter.

The Raiders started at the 20 after a touchback. The Raiders next drive ended when CB Bradley Fletcher picked off a Pryor pass that bounced of WR Rod Streater's hands and returned it to the Philadelphia 45.

The Raiders held the Eagles to a three-and-out and Jones came on to punt. Ford called for and made a fair catch at the Oakland 11. The Raiders drive stalled at the 42 and King came on to punt. King's punt bounced out of bounds at the Philly 23.

The Eagles went three and out and Jones came on to punt. Jones punt took a Raiders bounce and was downed at the Oakland 44. The Raiders next drive ended when LB Conner Barwin intercepted a deflected Pryor pass and the Eagles took over at their own 20.

Matt Barkley entered the game at quarterback for Philadelphia. The Eagles went three and out and Jones came on to punt. Ford called for and made a fair catch at the Oakland 32 and Matt McGloin entered the game at quarterback for the Raiders.

The Raiders drove to the Eagles 10 but McGloin's pass on 4th and 10 sailed out of the back of the end zone and the Eagles took over on downs. The Eagles went three and out and Jones came on to punt. Ford called for and made a fair catch at the Oakland 29. RB Jeremy Stewart capped the 10-play, 71-yard drive with a 2-yard TD run. The PAT was good and the Eagles lead was cut to 49-20 with 52 seconds left in the game.

Ertz recovered the onside kick and the Eagles took over with 51 seconds left. Barkley kneeled down twice the Raiders claimed the 49-20 win.

The Raiders fall to 3-5 on the season and head east next week to take on the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.
