Recently, Rookie LB [Rolando McClaininternal-link-placeholder-0]* *signed autographs at Lucky's in Oakland for the debut of his new Pepsi Max rookie can. Fans lined up hours before the event, some traveling from as far away as Los Angeles, to get their chance to meet McClain.

Although McClain was used to attention during his college days at the University of Alabama, getting his own Pepsi can was a new experience. "I think all the experiences I'm going through right now with the NFL you go through it in college a little bit, but it's not to this magnitude," said McClain. "Everything is kind of surreal to me especially being from a Southern kid from a small town Decatur, Alabama. It's all new to me and it's different but at the same time I like it."

McClain took the time to sign autographs and pose for pictures with the stream of Raider fans that came out to the Lucky's location in Oakland. Fans were excited to see the middle linebacker taking the time to meet the Raider Nation. "It's an honor that people want to come out and actually just see me," said McClain.

McClain teamed up with zero calorie Pepsi MAX and Lucky to celebrate the new Pepsi MAX NFL Rookie cans. McClain joins 13 other NFL rookies from across the league who will be featured on their own Pepsi MAX can. The NFL Rookie edition of Pepsi MAX will be available for a limited time at participating retailers.

The Pepsi MAX Rookie can series is part of the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week/Year program, which allows fans to vote each week and at the end of the season for the best rookie in the league at **www.pepsimax.com/facebook** or **www.NFL.com/rookie**.

As the official soft drink of the NFL and as part of the program, Pepsi MAX is not only honoring 14 different NFL rookies on the cans, but is giving fans the chance to win a trip to North Texas to attend Super Bowl XLV and all the festivities leading up to it, where they will announce the 2010 Rookie of the Year.
