The Oakland Raiders officially kicked off their Offseason Workout Program earlier this week, and now, less than a week before the 2016 NFL Draft, the team has announced new jersey numbers for the season.
Here is the list of numbers, including players who are changing their number – or position – from 2015.
No. 21 – Cornerback Sean Smith
No. 23 – Cornerback Dexter McDonald (previously wore No. 21)
No. 27 – Safety Reggie Nelson
No. 41 – Safety Brynden Trawick
No. 48 – Longsnapper Andrew East
No. 50 – Linebacker Ben Heeney (previously wore No. 51)
No. 51 – Linebacker Bruce Irvin
No. 56 – Linebacker Daren Bates
No. 70 – Guard/Tackle Kelechi Osemele
No. 87 – Tight end Colton Underwood (previously wore No. 48 and was listed as a linebacker)
