Raiders at Browns First Half Highlights

On the first play of the afternoon Derek Carr faked a handoff to Darren McFadden, rolled out to his right and found Andre Holmes for a gain of 15.

On the ensuing play, Darren McFadden lowered his shoulder and rushed straight through the Cleveland defense for a 16-yard pickup.

Brian Hoyer pitched the ball to Ben Tate but he was unable to turn the corner and was met in the backfield for a loss on the play.

On 3rd & 10 Hoyer tried to find Jordan Cameron over the middle, but the pass fell incomplete and the Browns were forced to attempt a field goal.

On 3rd & 2, Carr dropped back and found Mychal Rivera for a gain of eight and an Oakland first down.

Carr found himself under duress on the Raiders second drive, but quickly rolled to his right and found Rivera for a nine-yard gain.

Hoyer handed off to Ben Tate, but the running back was met behind the line of scrimmage by a wall of Silver and Black.

The Oakland defensive line continued their productive first quarter as Sio Moore brought down Ben Tate in the backfield for a loss of four.

With just under a minute left in the first quarter, Brian Hoyer threw deep to Travis Benjamin, but Charles Woodson got his hands on the ball and nearly came away with the interception.

Facing a 3rd & 5 in the early minutes of the second quarter, Carr found James Jones for a first down and gain of 13.

The Raiders blitzed and Sio Moore was able to break through the Cleveland offensive line and tackle Terrance West in the backfield.

Hoyer drove Cleveland the length of the field, but the Raiders defense held in the red zone and the Browns were forced to attempt another field goal.

With just under five minutes left in the half, Carr dropped back on third down and found James Jones to earn the Raiders a new set of downs.

Later in the drive Mychal Rivera made a tremendous one-handed catch from Carr that went for a gain of 22.

Sebastian Janikowski put the Raiders on the board just after the two-minute warning, knocking a 46-yard field goal through the uprights.

WR Kenbrell Thompkins amazing one-handed catch set the Raiders up at the Cleveland 22.
