The Oakland Raiders travel to New York for the second time this season, this time to take on the Jets on Sunday, Dec. 8. This game will mark the Raiders' fourth road game in the past five weeks and their final game against a non-divisional opponent for the 2013 season. The Silver and Black have not faced the Jets on the road since New Years Eve of 2006, a 23-3 Jets victory. However, Oakland has won two of the last three meetings, with the last one being a 34-24 victory in September 2011.

Last week, the Raiders lost a close game on Thanksgiving Day to the Dallas Cowboys, 31-24. The Raiders jumped out to an early lead when WR Greg Jenkins returned a fumble on the opening kickoff of the game 23 yards for a touchdown to give Oakland the early 7-0 lead. With the game tied 21-21 in the fourth quarter, Dallas pulled away for good when RB DeMarco Murray rushed for his third and final touchdown of the game. Oakland was led by RB Rashad Jennings, who paced the offense with two rushing touchdowns and 42 total yards.
WR Andre Holmes had a breakout game, posting career highs with seven catches and 136 receiving yards. QB Matt McGloin was 18-30 for 255 yards with one interception in his third-career start.

New York enters the match-up having lost four of their previous five games. The Jets lost last week against AFC East rival Miami Dolphins, 3-23. The Jets offense was lead by RB Chris Ivory who ran for 61 yards on 22 carries. K Nick Folk provided the lone Jets points when he kicked a 20-yard field goal in the third
quarter.

Following Sunday's contest, the Raiders will head home to face divisional rival Kansas City to wrap up their season series, and the Jets will travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers.

"When you watch us play and you watch us work every day, there is absolutely nothing that would give me any indication that there is anybody in that locker room that has any give up in them. I've said this from the very beginning, and I still believe this: I like this football team. I like the guys that are in that locker room. I understand where we're at from a record standpoint, but these guys have gone out there and given us everything that they've had every single week. I continue to expect to see that for the last four weeks of the season." -- Raiders Head Coach Dennis Allen
