Raiders Looking for Moore

Rookie wide receiver Denarius Moore had an exceptional season for the Silver and Black in 2011. Despite an injury causing him to miss three games, Moore finished the season with 33 catches for 618 yards (18.7 average) and five receiving touchdowns. He also added five rushes for 61 yards and a touchdown.

Moore had three 100-plus yard receiving games during his rookie season and a 94-yard game in Week 16 versus the Chiefs. His had a high of 146 yards in Week 2 against Buffalo, while also catching five passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns against San Diego. Moore was nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week three times (Weeks 2, 10, and 16) and received the award twice (Weeks 2 and 10).

The 5th round pick out of Tennessee had many highlight reel plays including a finger-tip catch in San Diego, multiple catches in which he took the ball away from defenders or beating the defense with his speed.

Moore also contributed on special teams, returning 25 punts for 216 yards and two kickoffs for 37 yards.
