Raiders Sign Ross to Active Roster

Raiders wide receiver Jeremy Ross

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed WR Jeremy Rossto the active roster from the practice squad, the club announced Wednesday.

Ross has played in 39 career games for the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions and Baltimore Ravens. He has totaled 39 receptions for 469 yards and two touchdowns, 54 kickoff returns for 1,389 yards (25.7 avg.) and one touchdown and 63 punt returns for 759 yards (12.0 avg.) and one touchdown.

Earlier this year, Ross played in five games for the Ravens before joining the Raiders. He posted nine receptions for 88 yards on offense, and returned seven kickoffs for 205 yards (29.3 avg.) and 10 punt returns for 109 yards (10.9 avg.)

The 6-foot, 215-pounder played in 43 games over four years at California, where he finished his career ranked second on the school's all-time punt return average list with an average of 15.2 yards per return (31 returns for 471 yards and one touchdown).

Additionally, the Raiders have signed LB John Lotulelei to the practice squad.
