Raiders Sign WR Isaac Whitney To Active Roster

The Oakland Raiders have signed WR Isaac Whitney to the active roster, the club announced Wednesday. He will wear No. 19.

Whitney originally signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent this past May, and has spent the previous 12 weeks of the regular season on the club's practice squad.

The 6-foot-2, 204-pounder played two years at USC after transferring from Riverside (Calif.) Community College. He also played one season at Central Oklahoma in 2013. In two seasons at USC, Whitney appeared in 13 games and totaled 11 receptions for 144 yards and two touchdowns.

Additionally, the Raiders have signed WR Tevaun Smithto the practice squad. Smith has appeared in two career NFL games, both coming last year with the Indianapolis Colts. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Colts in May 2016.
