The Raiders and Lions are involved in a tight match-up at O.co Coliseum in Oakland in preseason action.
- Facing third and two, Schaub was able to avoid the Detroit pass rush and connect with Mychal Rivera for an 18-yard gain.
- Matthew Stafford tossed a pass to Golden Tate, but Tarell Brown was able to square up the WR and make a nice open-field tackle.
- Justin Tuck broke through the offensive line and was able to take down Reggie Bush in the backfield for a six-yard loss.
- Schaub was able to buy some time in the pocket and eventually found Marcel Reece for a 10-yard gain.
- After a successful drive down the field, Darren McFadden took the handoff from Matt Schaub and pounded in the ball from the one-yard line for the first Raider points of the evening.
- Dan Orlovsky dropped back and tried to find Corey Fuller but Carlos Rogers had tight coverage on the play and broke up the pass.
- Rod Streater took the end around from Derek Carr and was able to run down the sideline for a gain of 13.
- LB Nick Roach forced a Lions FG attempt late in the 2nd quarterback with a sack of QB Dan Orlovsky.
