**From the start, Donald Penn was transparent – he wanted to remain an Oakland Raider – and Thursday afternoon he got his wish as he officially inked a new deal with the Silver and Black.
The veteran left tackle now enters his third year with the Raiders after starting all 32 games for the team during his tenure in Oakland.
Following the signing, players and media members alike took to social media to share their thoughts on the return of Penn to the Silver and Black.
Andre Holmes Re-Signs With The Raiders
Donald Penn wasn't the only Raider to re-sign with the Silver and Black this week, as wide receiver and special teams stalwart Andre Holmes also inked a new deal with the Raiders.
Holmes, who originally began his career with the New England Patriots, has appeared in 42 games with 18 starts.
He enjoyed a career year in 2014, hauling in 47 catches for 693 yards.
Silver And Black Boost Their Special Teams' Unit
In addition to Penn and Holmes re-signing with the team, McKenzie also added another pair of players to the Raiders' roster by signing linebacker Darren Bates and safety Brynden Trawick.

Charles Woodson Wins Commitment To Excellence Award
For the second-consecutive season, Charles Woodson won the Commitment to Excellence Award.
The future Hall of Famer accepted the award Saturday night at the Hilton-Oakland Airport.
Raiders In Mexico City
Raiders running backs Latavius Murray and Taiwan Jones, along with Raiderettes, visited Mexico City in preparation for the Texans and Raiders matchup in November.
A Franchise On The Rise
