The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced Wednesday its list of 167 modern-era players nominated for the Hall's Class of 2025.

Sixteen former Raiders made the cut on the esteemed roster which includes 94 offensive players, 56 defensive players and 17 special teams players.

Running back Marshawn Lynch, who totaled 297 rushing attempts, 1,267 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns as a member of the Silver and Black, has been nominated in his first year of eligibility.

The Class of 2025 can consist of three, four or five modern-era players, per the Hall's bylaws. By mid-October, the Hall's Screening Committee will reduce the list to 50 nominees, which will then be further reduced to 25 semifinalists later this fall.

Another vote will create the list of 15 finalists to be discussed at the annual meeting ahead of Super Bowl LVIX for the final decision of enshrinees.
