Former Raiders guard Steve Wisniewski and tight end Jason Witten moved forward in their quests towards the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame revealed Tuesday its 26 modern-era semifinalists for the Class of 2026. Wisniewski and Witten are the two Raiders players to make the cut, this being Wisniewski's third time named a semifinalist and Witten's first year of eligibility for the Hall.

Wisniewski only missed two games over the course of his 13-year career with the Raiders, and appeared in nine postseason games as well. He was named First-Team All-Pro twice, received eight Pro Bowl nods and was selected to the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team.

Witten, who played his final NFL season for the Raiders in 2020, is an 11-time Pro Bowler, has two First-Team All-Pro selections and has the second-most career receiving yards of any tight end in NFL history (13,046).

The Hall's Selection Committee will narrow the list down to 15 finalists later this year.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2026 will be announced at NFL Honors in February and enshrined in August in Canton, Ohio.
