Modesto, Calif. – Fans young and old lined the streets, exuberant about the opportunity to sit and listen to one of the budding stars in the NFL break down the top five plays from the Oakland Raiders 2016 campaign and more. That star is none other than Derek Carr, the Silver and Black's quarterback and leader on offense. No. 4 teamed-up with NFL Network analyst and older brother David Carr to host an event open to fans for an interactive "Chalk Talk."

"It's a great opportunity to give back to the fans," said the Raiders signal-caller. "This game wouldn't be as fun if there wasn't 50, 60, 70-thousand fans in the stands, and that's just a fact."

The duo kicked the night off with some friendly banter between the two and transitioned into an analysis of some of Derek's best throws over the course of his career. Following the "Chalk Talk" and several "MVP" chants for Derek, the brothers fielded questions from fans and provided some elaborate answers. It was an all-around positive evening that was filled with Raiders pride, laughter, and community bonding.

Whether it's on the field or off the field, the Raiders have a natural leader in Carr, and he truly appreciates all the support from the fans.

"They're the ones that make it go, and so any time we can kind of spend time with them, kind of share with them up on the screen some plays, laugh, answer some questions; any time we can get around people that support us, that's awesome."
