Fast Facts About Nick Roach

  1. Born in Milwaukee, Wis., Nick attended Milwaukee Lutheran High School where he played linebacker, wide receiver and running back, earning 2002 first-team all-state honors.
  1. He played college football at Northwestern where he was a captain his senior year and was also named an Academic All-Big Ten player.
  1. Roach spent the first six years of his NFL career with Chicago Bears (after initially being signed by the San Diego Chargers) and won the Brian Piccolo Award, an award for the player who best exemplifies courage, loyalty, teamwork and dedication, in 2012.
  1. Nick spent two weeks in 2009 traveling overseas to visit naval bases throughout the Middle East and Africa.
  1. Roach has driven across the country more than once in an RV with his wife and dogs.
