Henderson, Nev. – Today, the Las Vegas Raiders announced Robert Strawder as their 2025 Inspire Change Changemaker – an annual recognition celebrating leaders who are driving significant, measurable change in their communities across the NFL's Inspire Change initiative's four pillars: education, economic advancement, police-community relations, and criminal justice reform.
Strawder is the Founder of the Hip-Hop Entrepreneurship Program Academy which uses restorative practice circles, mentoring, problem-solving, gang intervention, and studio recording to help build oratorical skills through the creation of hip-hop music. Through the implementation of teaching strategies such as diversion, music history, mathematics, literacy, critical thinking, and entrepreneurship, he has measurably proven to boost student school attendance, improve behavior, and raise grade point averages. In addition, Strawder returned to the neighborhood he grew up in and opened the Donna Street Community Center to offer technology and educational resources for local families. He continues to support underserved communities by organizing school supply drives, holiday events, food and toy drives, and youth talent shows to help thousands of families across the Las Vegas valley.
Robert Strawder will be recognized at the Las Vegas Raiders Inspire Change home game during Week 17 for his exceptional work in pursuit of social justice, criminal justice reform, education, economic advancement, and police-community relations. He will also receive a $10,000 donation benefitting a non-profit organization of his choice.
