HENDERSON, Nev. – The Las Vegas Raiders have re-signed DE Malcolm Koonce, the club announced Wednesday.
Koonce enters his sixth season with the Raiders after originally being selected by the club in the third round (79th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He has played in 56 career games with 14 starts and totaled 74 tackles (46 solo), 17 tackles for loss, 14.5 sacks and four forced fumbles.
In 2025, Koonce appeared in 17 games and finished second on the team with 4.5 sacks while adding 27 tackles (12), one forced fumble and 13 quarterback hits. He posted career highs in tackles (40), sacks (8.0), quarterback hits (17), tackles for loss (nine) and forced fumbles (three) in 2023.
A native of Peekskill, N.Y., Koonce played four years at Buffalo (2017-20), where he was named a two-time All-MAC First-Team selection and finished tied for sixth in program history with 18 career sacks.
