The Oakland Raiders have signed free agent T Donald Penn, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Wednesday.

Penn has played in 122 career games over his eight seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Penn has started a remarkable 108 consecutive games, all at left tackle, since earning the starting job in 2007.

He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Minnesota Vikings in 2006 before being signed off the practice squad by the Buccaneers later that season. The 6-foot-5, 340-pounder was named to the Pro Bowl after the 2010 season, when current Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Olson coached him in the same capacity.

The Playa Del Rey, Calif. native attended Utah State, where he was selected by his teammates as a captain his senior season. Penn also started 44 consecutive games at both tackle positions for the Aggies.
