The NFL's new league year kicks off on March 11, which will also usher in the free agency period.
This could be a big offseason for the Las Vegas Raiders, heading into the offseason with over $87 million projected in cap space. And with 24 pending free agents, it's safe to say the front office will be exploring all options in constructing their 2026 roster.
Considering team needs and ties to the Raiders or coaching staff, here's a look at five free agents who could find their way to the desert.
Tyler Linderbaum, Center
Signing the Baltimore Ravens center would be like, all pun intended, hitting jackpot for a Raiders offense in dire need of improvement.
Lindenbaum has yet to turn 26 years old and has already been selected to three consecutive Pro Bowls since being drafted in 2022. He's only missed two games in his career to date, and earned a 0.9 percent sack rate in 509 pass blocking snaps in 2025, per Next Gen Stats.
Considering he's already protected for two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson, his experience could make a seismic impact. Linderbaum has also proven he can excel in a zone blocking scheme, an offense that Kubiak has adapted dating back to his days under Kyle Shanahan and his father Gary Kubiak.
Alec Pierce, Wide receiver
The Colts receiver revealed Wednesday that he plans on testing free agency for the first time. He was originally selected by the Colts in the second-round pick of the 2022 Draft.
Pierce spent his first couple of seasons under the radar, playing in the shadow of Michael Pittman and Josh Downs. However he's spent the last two years proving he has the potential to be a X receiver for an NFL franchise. In 2024, he led the Colts in receiving yards (824) and receiving touchdowns (seven). He reached 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his career in 2025 while leading the league among starting receivers in yards per reception (21.3).
Pierce could step in immediately as the Raiders WR1. While regarded as an explosive deep threat, he's made a lot of progress of expanding his route tree over the last two seasons. He was also college teammates with receiver Tre Tucker at Cincinnati. The duo combined for 1,310 yards and nine touchdowns in 2021 on a Bearcats squad that went 13-1.

Rashid Shaheed, Wide receiver
Shaheed poises a huge threat as a return specialist, with his three kick returns for touchdowns the most of any player in the league in 2025 (including playoffs).
Additionally, he ranked third in the league with 32.3 yards/kickoff return (incl. playoffs, min. 10 KR) and fourth with 14.2 yards/punt return (incl. playoffs, min. 10 PR). He was named First-Team All-Pro as a special teamer in 2023, his second season in the league, after racking up 719 receiving yards and five touchdowns grabs.
Shaheed will be tied to the Raiders in free agency rumors through Klint Kubiak, who was his offensive coordinator with the Seattle Seahawks after being traded there from the New Orleans Saints midseason.
Khalil Mack, Edge rusher
The 35-year-old plans to hit free agency after racking up 36.5 quarterback sacks within four seasons as a Los Angeles Charger.
He now has the opportunity to perhaps finish out his Hall of Fame worthy career with the team that drafted him.
The Raiders' 2014 first-round pick had 40.5 sacks in the first four seasons of his career, and won the 2016 AP Defensive Player of the Year. He also received two First-Team All-Pro selections in his time with the Silver and Black.
After being traded to the Chicago Bears in 2018, he continued to dominate. He's the second player in NFL history to have 30+ sacks for three different franchises, along with Pro Football Hall of Famer Kevin Greene. He also has 13 career sacks against the team that drafted him.

Trey Hendrickson, Edge rusher
Hendrickson, who has totaled 39 career sacks since 2023, is another elite edge rusher the Raiders could look to make a splash with.
A breakout 2020 campaign with the New Orleans Saints paved the way for him to sign a multi-year deal with the Bengals, where he received four consecutive Pro Bowl nods. He led the league in quarterback sacks (17.5) in 2024, was named a First-Team All-Pro and was runner-up for Defensive Player of the Year. He's one of five players in NFL history with 17+ sacks in consecutive seasons (2023 and 2024).
He'll be looking to have a bounce back year after injuries forced him to miss 10 games in 2025. At full strength, he could make an immediate impact to a Raiders defensive line that finished 27th in quarterback pressure percentage (19.4) last season.
