- During high school, Streater also competed in track, earning an all-county selection in the high jump.
- Rod is an avid fan of art. He enjoys drawing cartoons and when he wraps up his playing days he hopes to create a cartoon.
- In his downtime he likes to play video games on his Xbox One, especially Madden and Call of Duty.
- Streater's favorite food is French fries, and he says he could eat them with every meal of the day.
- Rod earned his degree in public relations from Temple University and almost decided to not pursue football and work in PR after he graduated. (We're glad he chose football.)
