Raiders sign LS Alex Ward to Reserve/Future contract

The Las Vegas Raiders have signed long snapper Alex Ward to a Reserve/Future contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Ward entered the NFL in 2023 as an undrafted free agent with the Los Angeles Rams. He has appeared in 38 career games over three seasons with the team. He has also appeared in three postseason games.

Ward, a Florida native, spent four seasons at Central Florida where he appeared in 50 games and was a two-time consecutive Mannelly Award finalist (2021 and 2022).

Anusiem was most recently on the Arizona Cardinals practice squad.

Raiders sign WR Brenden Rice and LB Jamin Davis to the practice squad

Rice was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Raiders sign CB Greedy Vance to the active roster

Additionally, the team waived LB Jamin Davis and released K Greg Joseph from the practice squad.

Raiders sign DL Boogie Basham to the practice squad

Basham was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Raiders activate QB Aidan O'Connell from the Reserve/Injured list

O'Connell was placed on injured reserve on Aug. 27 due to a wrist injury sustained in the preseason.

Raiders waive S Chris Smith

Additionally, the team released T Leroy Watson IV from the practice squad.
