The Oakland Raiders have signed free-agent tackle Tony Hills, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Tuesday.

The 6-foot-4, 304-pound Hills played in 10-career games with one start over five seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts. He was released by the Buffalo Bills Sunday.

Hills was the Steelers' fourth-round (130th overall) selection in the 2008 NFL Draft and played in four games with Pittsburgh in 2010.  He saw action in a career-high six games with the Colts last season, and made his first career start on Oct. 21, 2012, vs. Cleveland.

Hills played in 42 games at the University of Texas, starting his final 24 contests at left tackle. He was named first-team All-American by the Walter Camp Foundation following his senior year, and allowed just four sacks over his final two collegiate seasons.

To create space on the roster, the Raiders waived/injured K Eddy Carmona.
